Everything But The House (EBTH) is an online estate auction platform, selling unique vintage goods. EBTH was ranked as Ohio’s most valuable in 2017, having raised $84.5mm. I was hired to build the product design roles within the tech team, working directly with the CTO. As Director of UX I worked collaboratively with the Brand and Marketing divisions to expand the newly create brand on all internal and external platforms, improve the UX and UI through consistent testing and learning, build a robust and simple design pattern library and design language system, improve digital communication platforms, and build new and innovative enterprise software solutions for customers.
Our team was able to make significant improvements to the entire estate pipeline, from creating specialized apps for item ingestion, efficient and expedited categorization using machine learning, software tools to acceleration photography and attribution, as well as a streamline the warehouse pickup system.
